Privacy Policy
Road Signs · Effective August 12, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how the Road Signs Android application (package name
com.traffic.roadsigns) accesses, uses, shares, protects, retains, and
deletes information. By using the app, you acknowledge the practices described here.
2. Information handled by the app
The developer does not operate user accounts or a server that receives information you type into the app. Quiz mode and similar preferences are stored locally on your device. You can delete this local data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
3. Information processed by third-party services
The app includes the following Google services:
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share IP address (which may be used to estimate general location), interactions with the app and advertisements, diagnostic and performance information, and identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID and app set ID. Google uses this information to provide and measure advertising, perform analytics, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on applicable law, consent choices, device settings, and Google's policies.
Google Analytics for Firebase
Firebase Analytics may automatically process an app-instance identifier, Android Advertising ID when available, masked IP address used to derive coarse location, app lifecycle events such as first launch, app opens, screen views and sessions, and device or app information such as operating system, device model, app version, and language. This information is used to understand app usage, maintain the app, measure engagement, and improve reliability and content.
The developer does not sell personal information. Data sent to Google is handled by Google under its own terms and privacy practices. Learn more from Google's Privacy Policy, Google Mobile Ads data disclosure, and Firebase Analytics data disclosure.
4. Permissions
Road Signs uses internet access to load advertisements and communicate with Firebase Analytics. The app does not request access to precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, SMS, phone calls, or device storage.
5. Security
Information transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads and Firebase Analytics SDKs is encrypted in transit using TLS. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
6. Retention and deletion
Locally stored app preferences remain until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. The developer does not maintain Road Signs user accounts or a database of user-submitted personal information. Google determines retention periods for data processed by AdMob and Firebase Analytics according to the service configuration, Google's policies, and applicable law. You may reset or delete your Advertising ID through Android settings and manage Google advertising choices through My Ad Center. For a privacy or deletion inquiry, use the contact information below.
7. Children's privacy
Road Signs is not directed specifically to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly request personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information in connection with the app, contact us so the concern can be investigated. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of apps that display advertising.
8. International processing
Google may process information on servers located outside your country. Where required, Google applies safeguards for international data transfers as described in its privacy documentation.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app, its services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are posted.
